I have been trying to maintain a meditator support program. It is challenging to help meditators continue with their daily practice. I_m still working on the Enlightenment Club concept and would like to develop that with anyone else interested. We know that creating a solid meditator base is a good way to increase instructions, through referrals.____Within GMD:__ Lend support:__- so that the organization does not seem just like an auxiliary wing and it becomes a thriving entity in its own right. __- to ensure that diversity is maintained. The downside of gender segregation is that many of us do not comfortably fit into gender specific categories, and I am sure that this separation into two movements feels awkward and unnatural. I would be happy to participate in any _welcoming committee_ development that embraces the broad spectrum of who we really are.","- _Mother is at home_ for Governors. Creation of a Governor support group/program with a first emphasis on the opportunity to share experiences, feedback and ideas in teaching. The second emphasis could be on personal development - mutual inspiration for maintaining balanced daily routines. Help for some in the area of ideas on maintaining financial sustainability would probably be welcome. We need to acknowledge that, for those who are not financially independent, maintaining a balance between financial stability, teaching activities, home and family responsibilities and long program is a challenge. Who is successful, and how are they doing it? How can we help advise new graduates from TTC? Many would probably benefit from shared experiences and from anyone with expertise.____- Additional teaching tools for us for the general public _not schools or businesses as is the focus of Raja Hagelin_s current endeavors_. Suggestion: the creation of short low cost courses to use in the field as an introduction to TM and Maharishi Ayurveda. _Different than the short courses that were previously offered_. The Unified Field conferences by Raja Hagelin are wonderful but they are very intellectual and it would be helpful to also create some material that would speak directly to the simple concerns of peoples_ daily lives. One of the stumbling blocks in teaching TM is we just can_t get any traction. It is hard to establish the value of enlightenment in a still very materialistic society and we can_t engender enough trust in us to the general population. Many of the people who call in through the National Call Center indicate that they want a taste or a trial of some sort. Which indicates to me that they need more time to build trust in us, and more interaction to feel comfortable with us before making the leap of the investment. Can we offer half day or two hour seminars in Ayurvedic health tips just so people can get to know us and realize that we offer a wealth of profound knowledge? Even just a self-administered dosha test with some general seasonal suggestions might be a place to start. _Obviously it would have to be general enough to not look like we are practicing medicine._ Or maybe a course in daily routine planning using one of Dr. Lonsdorf_s books as a launching pad. It could be advertised as an aid for busy women. There are many approaches that we can take, that would gently lead someone to eventually learning TM. ____- Is there a possibility of creating a Vedic Organic Gardening program? Can we apply the principals of large scale MVOA farming to small personal gardens? It would be a great way to introduce people to the concept of sounds as the building blocks of the Universe.____These are just some preliminary thoughts."
